See our Sun - Solar Workshop
Would you like to see the surface of the Sun? Well you will be able to in complete safety with this workshop session. View sunspots, flares and perhaps even catch a glimpse
of an eclipse or planet transit?
If you book a solar workshop, UK Astronomy will provide the equipment and expertise to allow you and your students / group to view the Sun in complete safety.
Our Solar System - Workshop
This session uses inflatable planets and includes a presentation with pictures that our members have taken from their own gardens, giving you an interactive workshop on our
Solar System (we'll even throw in some fun facts about them!). The workshop session also includes a beginner’s guide to what you can see in the UK skies using your naked-eye,
binoculars and of course, a telescope.
If you book our Solar System workshop, UK Astronomy will provide the equipment and expertise to allow you and your students / group to have hands on fun learning about our very
own planets.
Stargazing - Workshop
Want to see planets, learn about the skies or just try out some telescopes? UK Astronomy and their friendly, knowledgeable volunteers have a wide range of family friendly gear
for you to use at this evening workshop. Please note however, that practical stargazing is weather dependant. Tie this in with our Solar System workshop session and you'll have
the perfect combination for a truly out of this world experience.

own planets.
Mobile Observatory
Bringing the skies to you. With the Space Crafter, we are able to host stargazing evenings in the local area and once lockdown guidance relaxes further,
educational events with the National Trust, Parks Trust, local councils, and schools. It will allow the charity to travel far and wide with specialist
stargazing equipment.
